14.8.0 Won't open project files after downgrading to 14.7. 0 and upgrading back to 14.8.0

14.8.0 was very unstable compared to 14.7.0 so I tried to downgrade. Needed to access a 14.8.0 file so had to reinstall 14.8.0. Now all my project files say they were created in a version of Premiere newer than the current one.

Does anyone have any advice?

hi,

you can edit projet file to remove version information or simply use something like that http://downgrader.elements.tv/

Can't open already exisitng projects, can't import projects into new projects. Really learned my lesson on Adobe's betas and auto updates.
