Adobe Portfolio Password Protection and Encryption

Was wondering if utilizing Adobe Portfolio encryption password will work for use of a website for multiple users - but I do not want the ether to garner access to the website as it is proprietary information?  And if it is essentially ok to proceed forward, am I to understand if I create a password for the entire site, will I have to enter the password for each app (thus slowing down any production) and if someone has the access to my website, with the password, they would also have access to all the other apps and creative designs in my Creative Cloud?
