Anchors on a Shape cannot be moved/animated with pen tool. Once clicking it converts the anchor point to bezier. Moving in not an option. Makes animating a shape very difficult/impossible.

Hold down Alt and change the vertex to non bezier.

If you want non bezier vertex be carfull not to draw and drag the vertex at the same time

The Help is inconsistent; it calls the nodes vertex and anchor points
