Application Launch Hangup on PC

Just downloaded the new Beta today and have come across the application hanging up on the "start up" screen of the application.  The circle just spins and nothing loads in the startup window.  I did find that you can just close the window and open or create a new project from the menu bar File->New/Open Project.

Not seeing this problem on the Mac side.
