Are there plans to allow the AI Assistant to see embedded timecode in video clips?

I placed some video clips onto one sequence, end-to-end, then set the sequence Start Time to match the first clip.  Then, I asked the Assistant to move all the video clips on that sequence to their respective timecodes, so that the first frame of timecode for each clip would match the sequence timecode. The Assistant said it couldn’t do that because the clip timecodes aren’t visible to it.
