Audio export with microphone output low quality

When exporting audio with my video, upon playback it seems rather low quality compared to my usual workflow on the intel version of the program.

 

- HEVC 265 used

- Microphone output sounds lower quality i.e. like I am slightly robotic/underwater

- Was surprised as during playback this is not noticeable

I'm having the same problem. Audio quality during playback is fine but when exporting H.264, it sounds very compressed. Only solution I've found is to export as ProRes and use the current (non-beta) version of Media Encoder to encode to H.264. Not the end of the world, but definitely adds time to the workflow.
