Hello,

I record audio on my phone for my motorcycle riding and audio is flat, volume is always about the same and on acceleration audio gets distorted, so can i fix that in adobe premiere pro or is it a bad microphone problem?

Thanks

Correct answer MisterAdvent

The automatic gain control in the phone is keeping it from overloading the digits, but you're overloading the input stage, giving you that distortion.  You need to turn down the gain on the microphone, but the phone may not offer that option.

You can fix it in Audition but it can be very time consuming.  You'll have to zoom in to see the distortion, select the area and use auto heal...on each and every distorted waveform.  The distortion will appear as spikes on the low frequency waves.  See attach.  Select as I did and hit ctl+U (Win)
