Beta updates remove Apps from dock - Mac

I have noticed an issue when installing the daily updates of most of the beta DVA apps. During the install / update, any icons of the beta apps I currently have in the dock get removed. You have to manually go to applications folder and move the new shortcuts back to the dock.  See the issue on Big Sur (11.2) test mac I'm running and also seen it on catalina 10.15.7.
