Can't get past the project page

I've been using the production version of PP but tried the Beta (updated) on my M1 Ultra Mac Studio fully specced, and while it opens the program, I can't get past the project screen before it crashes.

Any thoughts ?

In addition, that is either creating a new project or opening a PP production version.

On some version, I had a problem if I clicked on any of the media folder filters, but it opened a new project if I just clicked "create." Be sure you try that.
