Cannot Use Transcription Feature Error (-1)

Attempting to transcribe in 2021 Beta and receive "Unknown Error (-1) It worked fine a few weeks ago and I haven't tried it since.

 
System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.4.0.25
    OS: macOS v10.14.6, RAM: 32.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Looks like the beta won't update from v15. Gotta fully uninstall the beta, then reinstall. It will install the latest version then.

Note that updating to version 39 (maybe 38) or later results in moving to Project Version 40 - projects saved after that cannot be opened in the current release versions (15) or the earlier 22.0.0 Betas. See this thread:

Note that the Beta you are using is a lower version than the 15.4 version released recently (at Build 47).

 

I don't have a link at the moment, but staff indicated that transcription will now only work in Beta builds 22.0.0 and above (not 15.4). I don't recall what build it was.

 

That said, I don't recall this error ("Unknown Error (-1)") being reported.
