Create New screen is confusing, impractical, inefficient and useless.

The screen that opens after click on "New Project" is terrible. It is confusing. It's impossible to easily find where any information is stored, it's impossible to figure out how to create and name a project and form the settings for the first sequence.

It appears to be hard-coded to making useless sample media an unmovable or non-deletable "favorite," does not include a "local" button to the default "video" folder, and proivides no means by which settings, such as aspect ratio, rendering engine, or audio can be set.

This is a serious bug and needs to be replaced with the legacy screen. Even returning to the "home" screen in hopes of being able to create a project and establish settings loops back into this useless mess.
