Creative Cloud App keeps notifying me of an available update to Beta.

Just this morning, the CC Desktop App insists there is an update available for Premiere Beta. When opening Premiere Beta, I would see a notification at the bottom of the Home Screen that an update was available. I updated 3 times and the notification still persists in the CC app, no longer in Premiere. I believe I have the latest version installed: Ver 27.0.0 (Build 22).

Can someone confirm the latest version of Beta? Hopefully the “Update Notification” will stop at some point.

Thank you.

I second this issue. Any solution found? I rebooted also but nothing changed.

I rebooted my pc and all is well now. B30.

Still getting the message for a new update but just ignoring it.

    Edit: its gone now.

If something does not go according to plan (odd message, takes too long) first thing I do is reboot my machine.

Due to @Ann Bens mentioning that Build 30 was available, I just tried again to update Media Encoder (Beta). If that was successful, I’d update Premiere (Beta).

After updating ME, I did not launch the app and waited to see if ME would move from “Recent Updates” back to “New Updates”. I started a stop watch. It took between 60 to 90 seconds and the CC App showed ME jumping back into “New Updates”. I didn’t launch ME.

At this point, I’m not going to try updating Premiere (Beta) because I expect the same. I’ll try again next week or until someone from Adobe announces a fix.

    Thank you all.

Same issue this morning with Premiere (Beta) update. I seem to be stuck on 27.0.0 Build 28.

    From this morning:

Now the same thing seems to be happening with Media Encoder! Update, Launch, Scan for Audio Plug-ins, Update available in CC App. Try again. Same result.

I was out of that loop yesterday but today it came back with the newest update. Now the problem is the “enhance audio” process in the update. It never finishes and goes back to “update available”. But the difference from before is that I don’t get an error message in notifications and if I open the add-ons section there is no error or “retry” button. But still I press there the “add” button in “enhance audio” and I get a message saying it was added but the button keeps saying “add” instead of “added” and it still says “update available”.

OMG. I never expected to be Beta Testing the CC app. There are just too many “holes” or issues right now with updating. I’ll be putting updates on pause until next week and see if all of this gets addressed. It’s just not worth it for me to be going through this annoying behavior.

Any chance we can hear back form someone at Adobe?

    Good morning.

    I see that Premiere Beta v27.0 - v27.0.0.018 (2026-08-25) is available. I’m attempting to update…

    ALL IS WELL!

Updated and launched without issue Build 28.

I do see a notification in the CC App that “Sound Lift Installation Failed”. I believe that was yesterday.

    Thank you everyone.

I installed Sound Lift from the CC app successfully.

    Hi, Ann.

Hopefully going forward you won’t need to do that. Build 28 installed without issue this morning. The notification regarding Sound Lift was from yesterday.

I’m stuck in the same loop but mine does say I’m on build 27 only for a moment. Let me explain:

I hit update, it “finishes updating” and I can open the app and it shows Build 27 but if I check the CC app it shows “Adding sound lift” and then I get an error saying I need to close Premiere Beta, so I do and it continues updating but then it shows again as an update available and if I open it again now it Says Build 22. If I try to update it again and don’t open Premiere Beta when it “finishes updating” (the open button becomes available), it shows that “Adding sound lift” message and then it shows again as an update available. So I can only open Build 27 for a while, I can even work on it but if then I click on “retry” on the “could not add module” error message then I have to close Premiere Beta and the loop starts again.

YES! I got something like that as well! Either way, I still bounce back to Build 22 and the CC App says an update is available. Hopefully an update to the CC App will fix this?

I recall getting a message that suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well.

    Thank you, Ann.

I guess that brings up a new issue for me then.
