Daily Requests to Update Software

I'm using Premiere Pro Beta 24.4.0 on a Windows Desktop / Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64 based systems.

For the past couple of weeks, each time I open Premiere Pro, I get a NEW notice that says: :A newer ve rsion is available." I click on the message and go to the update page where both Premiere Pro and Photoshop show available updates. I update them at that time. However, the next day, I get the same notice. This strikes me as ridiculous. What is necessary to stop getting what I assume is buggy request?

Correct answer Ann Bens

Its not a buggy request.

The beta gets update very frequently, as in nearly every day, so users can test the software for bugs and bug fixes.

To answer the question directly...use the non-beta production software.

They say you should use that anyway for mission-critical projects.  (I rarely do.)

At least right now the project files are interoperable, so if something is broken in beta you can finish in production.

Premiere Pro (Beta) is the actively developed version of Premiere Pro. Each day we post a new build with the latest changes, fixes, and improvements. We might miss a day here or there if we catch a problem that was introduced.

The idea behind Premiere Pro (Beta) is to let people try new features that are in development so we can get early feedback and get a sense for how it's performing on more systems than we could possibly test internally. We want to make sure that if you are trying out features in the beta, that you are on the latest version.
