[Generative Extend] Any Clip Fails With Generative Extend

I have been trying to get the new generative extend to work in the beta version. I have tried with multiple clips of different lengths and resolutions (going upto 1080p) and different frame rates (24, 25 and 30 FPS) and I keep getting the error "Can't complete generative extend". This seems to happen during the "Uploading..." phase as per the icon status in my premiere timeline. Not sure what's wrong with this. The clips I am trying are simple - a man looking at the camera, a wide shot of a rocky sea shore wirh crashing waves. And I am testing these in a new sequence.

Basically, "same here" (Win, Premiere Pro 25.2.0 (Build 147)).

Adobe gave me a couple of days to "try" the feature... couldn't find a single clip it would successfully extend.

For PNG sequences, it won't even let me extend the clip at all, saying "not available for this video format" (or sth like that). For other formats, it lets me extend it the 2 seconds it allows for... but then simply marks the extended part of the clip with "can't complete":

No reason given. Mouseover highlights the "can't complete" badge, but gives no error-related tooltip info, clicking just selects the clip. All a bit disappointing... giving a reason would make this all so much more helpful.

Tried 1080p with various fps (24/25/30), nothing worked. Slightly underwhelming.

I literally just dealt with this exact issue, using the BETA of course. I toiled for hours trying everything in my arsenal.
I solved my problem.

I made the clip longer dragging it out a bit. (you may not have this luxury). I then ran the generative extender on it, and it worked. But of course, because I extended my clip it wasn't exactly what I wanted. But, when I "un-did" the changes back to my original clip, and ran the extender, it worked.

I think this is a legit glitch now. Up until this moment, I thought I had done something wrong. Some little detail I missed and was messing up the A.I. But now I'm confident in saying, this is a straight up glitch.

After a full day of trying multiple clips, the generative extend just hasn't worked for me. Sometimes, it starts the uploading phase but after some time, it errors out. And other times, it just errors out right at the beginning. I guess either ther servers are slammed hard or there is an issue with the tool and it only works with very selective content types. I hope the next versions have local processing. If anyone has any tips for me to try, then would be happy to test them out to get this working.

I have been trying mutliple clips with different sizes, lengths, frame rates, etc. But I only ever get the error, "Generative Extend does not support your clip." Am I doing something wrong?

It was stated that it currently works on 1080p and 720p 16x9 clips. Anything outside of that will not work currently.

Okay, right after posting this, I tried some of the same clips again and weirdly one of them worked. Or at least it is not erroring out and currently in the "Uploading..." state. This clip is 1080p at 24 FPS. Other clips are same resolution but at 25 or 30 FPS seem to be consistenly erroring out although the model seems to support "upto 30 fps" as per a message I got within the generative extend tool. And some 24 fps clips have also failed for me. So, this may be some initial hiccups or limitations of the model in beta.

Will share any additional findings here.
