Hard to test the beta if you can't render it.

Otherwise, the beta seems to be working. It would be nice to see the rendered product. Glad I discovered this before working on a full project.

The beta is for testing new features and finding bugs.

The Dev's recommend that you do not use a beta version of Premiere Pro for critical production work.

Try trashing Preferences.
