How do I delete or rename a new caption style in the new captions workflow?

I am attempting a job for the first time using the new caption features in Premiere Beta 15.0

I have created caption styles that I then either wish to delete or rename.

How is this done?

When you create a Track Style for Captions, the template will appear in the Project panel. You can then rename or delete the  Style template in the Project panel and it will update in the Essential Graphics panel.

I messed around and found another solution if you don't recall which project you created it in:

- Open your computer's search bar & search for the exact title of your caption style. It should pop up a ".PRTEXTSTYLE" file.

- Right click on it/open file location. It should then take you to the folder where all the caption styles are saved, regardless of which project you saved it in.

- From there you can delete what caption styles you dont want and then restart Premiere Pro!

However, simply renaming the file does not change it in premire pro. I attached some screenshots below if needed! 🙂

Dietmar,

In the Project Panel (for each project), select the track style and delete.

Thanks Trent. For some reason I hadn't noticed this!
