I keep getting an audio error message AUDIO NOT FOUND

This message keeps appearing on my timeline and audio stops.  I stop playback and then it's fine but keeps appearing.

SPECS (ATTACHED)

I am running an AMD 24 core threadripper3960 (3.8ghz)  and Nvidia GeForce RTX3070 graphics card, TRX40 Aurus Pro WIfi.  32mb of RAM so a pretty powerful computer. 
Sound harware: C4RG9x (NVIDIA)

SPDIF Interface, Realtek USB2.

I have searched forums but not seen any resolution for this issue.
