I was working in Beta, not realizing it was a test for upgrades in the future.  I moved over all of my sequences from BETA back to Premiere pro 26.5, but an unable to move my bins to the Premiere pro 26.5 project.  How do I move my bins from the Beta project database to the 26.5 version of premiere Pro?

    @jacquelinek16431674,

    The current Beta is version 27.x which uses project FILE version # 46. The current Release version is 26.x which uses project FILE version # 45.If you try to open a file version 46 project in PR version 26, you get a “created in a newer version,” and can’t open it.

    Since you refer to moving Sequences, I assume you are exporting your project as FCP/XML, which does not transfer your Project, and therefore not your bin structure.

    For a few versions, you the new masking feature created problems for using the old method of changing the project file to allow opening it in an earlier version. But you can do this again to open a file version 46 project in PR 2026, since both have the masking.

    These methods (including on line converters) unzip the compressed .prproj file, edit it in a text editor to change the Version="46" on line 4 to Version="45." Then save it to a new name, and then zip it using gzip compression and then rename the extension to .prproj. When you open this in PR  2026, it should work.

    See this:

    I tested on Win 11 for converting Beta 27 to Release 26.5.0.
