importer reported a generic error on premiere pro 2025 25.1 Beta

Got this bug after latest update over the weekend. While trying to replace any clips by an after effects composition get the "Importer Reported a generic error". Happened with clips from other sequences, raw files, source graphics, all types of clips.

I can import from AE projects into Premiere and that is my workaround for the moment but it's so much faster and more precise if I do the other way around, especially with long raw files. So far I haven't edited another of the 5, 6 hour raw videos but I imagine the pain with that if this doesn't get patched.

Any other possible solutions or workarounds? Is anybody having the same issue? Couldn't find anything about it except on 2024 and 2023 updates. From what I've read in other posts in previous years, resetting workspaces didn't work, and I don't use files directly from any cloud services.

I'm having the same problem, when I try to replace a clip with an after effects composition, the generic error message reported by the import program appears and the after effects icon in the taskbar starts blinking with a red color, I've already deleted the cache, cleaned the database, reset preferences in both programs, and reinstalled both programs and I still have the same problem.
