In Color Mode, Comparison view HUD does not show split screen in Scopes

Question

When trying to match camera grades in Comparison View in the new Color Mode, the scopes do not show the comparison view. i only see one clip. Is this an issue that’s being addressed or is this operator error?

Hi. I haven’t looked at this post since I posted it 2 weeks ago. I can understand your confusion. I’m not sure why i uploaded that particular screenshot. It’s not a very good example. LOL. The problem I was having was that while I had a comparison view of two clips in the program monitor, the scope was only showing me one of the clips. I wasn’t seeing the split screen in the scope view. However, it all seems to be working now. So it was either operator error on my part or recent updates have taken care of it.

Make sure you have two different clips selected in the clip grid to compare with one another (or one pinned color reference marker from the marker panel to compare to the current clip); I can’t see the clip grid in your screenshot so it’s hard to see what the current setup is. Here’s a screenshot that shows two selected clips in the clip grid with Comparison View enabled and the split is visible in the HUD. If you’re doing this and it’s still not working then it would be good to get more information.
