In Premiere Beta's new color workflow, provide a way to add one or multiple clips to an existing group.

The ability to apply color operations to a group of clips in the new color workflow (beta) is solid. It would be helpful to be able to select one or multiple clips and add them to an existing group. This could also include moving a clip or clips from one group to another.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Hi @alansangma,

To add one or more clips to an existing group you can do the following:

    1)  You can drag all adjustments from a group to a new clip in clipgrid.
    2)  You can also copy all the operations in that group, right click on the clip in the clip grid, and choose Paste grade to Selection > Paste to Preserve Group Relationships

    Thanks,

Ah...this might be what I was looking for! Thanks.

That is precisely what I was looking for. I’m glad it’s there.

That being said, I would be managing what clips are in what groups a fair bit. It would be a workflow that would take the place of using adjustment layers.

Going into nested right-click menus would likely get pretty tedious.
It could be useful to make it easier to do “group management” in the color workflow.

    Thanks!
