Merge Captions is broken

"Merge Captions" inside the Text panel is not working. It used to be working until a couple of weeks ago. Nothing happens when it is clicked now.

Single use Merge should now be fixed with Premiere Pro 15.1 beta 025+

Clicking Merge button multiple times may encounter issues and is still being worked on.
