MP3 files won't load in Premiere pro beta for Mac m1

Hello guys,

 

Premiere pro doesn't allow any mp3 file to be loaded. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

    Hi @default1a5bxfvoozet are you using the Premiere Pro Beta on an M1 Mac? If so, MP3s are not yet supported. We are in the process of translating the whole application over from Intel code to Apple Silicon code and that includes all of the many formats Premiere Pro supports. We're hard at work on MP3 and it will be announced here when available.

      Convert to wav files before importing.

      Yes, thats the way to solve it but it also takes time, I got many projects where i Use mp3s, this have never been an issue for regular pp
