Object Mask Tool isssue

I’m experiencing an issue with the Object Mask Tool. When I click on it, the tool does not activate. The only way to make it work is to close the project and reopen it again. This issue keeps happening and is disrupting my workflow.

If you want to animate the mask you need to select Frame mode not Clip mode.

Use object masking in Premiere Pro
