Playback freezing, transcription not working, export not working

Lots seems to be broken in this build. 

I have a very simple 30 second timeline with only 2 tracks of video and one stereo track of audio. 

Tried to add captions and was unable to get the transciber to work. 

Added captions manually, but the text formatting tools window doesn't show up so I am unable to change the caption background or placement of text on the screen.

With frozen playback, I can't even display a single frame in the program monitor by moving the playhead so I can't see if captions are correct on screen. 

Export just freezes as well. I am able to export to media encoder though.
