Premier Pro Beta version 24.5.0 build 28 colors are dark on timeline

When I updated to the latest build 28, my pictures on the timeline are dark. I did find a workaround, but that requires going to each picture and overriding media color space to srgb. My master color space is already rec 709. Again, this used to work before I updated to latest build.

Sorry about that, it's Rec. 709. That's the first thing I checked when it looked darker. It's like it's saying it Rec. 709 but it's not. Idk?

As you didn't have a sequence selected, "we" can't see what CM your sequence is set to.

Premiere's color management options are vastly increased in the 24.x series.

 

So showing a screengrab of your entire Lumetri panel Settings tab, the one named Settings, would help. As how you're setup there does affect a lot of things.

 

Drag/drop that image onto the text reply box ...
