Premier Pro Start New Project Confusing

Version 22.0.0 BETA (Build 7)

OK, so this is beta software, I get it, but here's the confusion:

I need to create a new project.

Launch Premier Beta.

Get the home screen

Click "Create New Project"

Get the new "Import Media" screen!

What???

Go back to home

Try File | New.  Everything is grayed out.

Try to click Edit

It's grayed out.

OK Back to Home

Click Create Project

Well what happens if I select some media.

With media selected, I finally see at the bottom the path to the project

And the create button. Way down in the bottom right.

New project creates!!!  

But there was nowhere to specify the sequence parameters.

Then I look at the timeline and all the clips are already there.  Clips are for a multicam sequence, so

I have to delete them all and start to create the multicam seqauence

Bottom line: it works but it's very confusing for experienced users.

A Create Project dialog would be better.
