    @Walter.Meregalli,

    I think you are actually saying that the Transcription is bad, and that the captions made from it require correction. Recent threads have not been migrated to the new forum, and include this problem.

    In that thread, staff @mattchristensen reported that “We're aware of the issue and it is true that in Beta right now, the transcription output is worse than it used to be. We're working on a fix.”

    I do not know what version that was, other than 26.1.1. The current Beta is 26.2.0.18. I was not experiencing the problem in 26.1.1.32, and I do not know if there has been any improvement in the  newer Beta versions.

    Once migrated the old thread may be available via the old link:

    @Sameer K,

    Can you move this one to:

    Thanks,

    Stan

    @Stan Jones @Walter.Meregalli yes that’s correct – there was an issue for a couple weeks where the Beta had worse transcription performance, with many errors. This has been fixed now, and if you make sure to up to the latest available Beta of Premiere, you should experience both faster and more accurate transcription, than the current release.

    Moving a message to the correct forum is not working
    The USING THE COMMUNITY forum is not where you ask program questions

    Damn! I had to go through and edit something like 750 blocks of close captions, to correct the numberless errors generated by the faulty transcription feature.
    Missing words, creative and unwante reinterpretations instead of literal transcriptions, mispelled words and various holes in the automatic flow.
    It took me more the eight hours to correct the CC track of a 39 minute video.
    What the hell!
