Question

Productions - focus doesn't stay with source when cutting from one project to another (sometimes)!

As long as you haven't chosen to switch focus to timeline in prefs, you should be able to cut from a source sequence that's open as a timeline to another timeline, without focus switching away. Currently (and in previous versions) the focus sometimes switches to the project panel for me, when the source sequence is in a different project from the program sequence. Not always though, so that makes this a harder solve.

I can't see how to reproduce this consisently or avoid it consistently. But it does lower procuctivity.

@Nick Lear yeah that other issue you describe is a different symptom of the same issue. It is fixed now in the Beta version, 24.0 build 007 or later.

I'm getting a what I think is connected thing, which is that when I cut and paste in a timeline that is full screen (i.e using the the ~ key), the full screen-ness goes away and the project gets highlighted.
