Dear Adobe Community and Product Team,

My name is Volodymyr Kuropiatnyk, and I am a Director and Editor at TVP3 Szczecin, a major Polish television station. With over 10 years of professional experience in post-production and video editing—starting from my student years—I have built my entire career on Adobe products. Throughout this decade, Adobe Creative Cloud has been my exclusive toolset for professional broadcast production.

I am writing to respectfully request the addition of Ukrainian and Polish language support for the transcription feature in the upcoming Premiere Pro update.

Professional Context:

Ukrainian and Polish television broadcasters, including public stations like TVP3 where I work, actively depend on Adobe's professional tools for daily production workflows. As someone who has invested a decade in mastering Adobe's ecosystem, I can speak to the critical importance of having comprehensive language support for all key features.

Why This Request Matters:

The transcription feature has become an essential tool for content creators in Eastern European markets. Currently, the lack of support for Ukrainian and Polish languages creates a significant operational gap in our production pipeline.

Current Workflow Challenges:

Without native language support, my team must employ time-consuming workarounds that impact our efficiency in:

  • Subtitle and caption generation for regional broadcasts
  • Video dubbing and localization for international distribution
  • Content accessibility compliance
  • Post-production scheduling and delivery deadlines

Anticipated Benefits from Update 2026:

I am particularly excited about the upcoming version 26, especially the improved object and face blurring mask feature. This advancement will dramatically reduce masking time on daily broadcast content. Combined with transcription support for Ukrainian and Polish, this update would provide a truly complete professional-grade workflow for Eastern European broadcasters and content creators like myself.

Personal Request:

As a loyal Adobe user who has committed an entire career to your products, I genuinely believe this enhancement is essential for:

  • Streamlining subtitle creation for regional content
  • Improving accessibility for millions of Ukrainian and Polish viewers
  • Strengthening professional adoption of Premiere Pro across Eastern European media institutions
  • Supporting the global creative community that depends on these languages

I believe this feature would be valuable not only for professionals in our region but for all Adobe Creative Cloud users working with these languages worldwide. Your commitment to supporting diverse global languages would reinforce why so many broadcasters and editors—like myself—choose Adobe exclusively.

Thank you for considering this important request. I eagerly await this feature and remain a dedicated advocate for Adobe products in our broadcast community.

Respectfully,

Volodymyr Kuropiatnyk

The lack of support for Polish and Ukrainian in the transcription feature has been partially addressed through integration with Frame.io.

I must admit, it does the job quite well.

Frame.io offers a transcription feature that supports a much wider range of languages, including Polish and Ukrainian. Thanks to this collaboration, you can now generate transcriptions directly within the Frame.io ecosystem. You can export transcriptions in formats such as SRT, VTT, and TXT
