Resizing Clip After Using Enhance Speech Causes Audio Echo

Premiere Pro Beta 24.1.0
PC - Windows 10

 

After I've applied the new Enhance Speech effect to a clip, resizing it will cause the audio to echo, almost as if the audio track is duplicated and out of sync with itself.

It happens whether increasing or decreasing the time.

The only solution is to close and re-open my project.

The audio track I'm using is mono.

    I have this problem too.

    System Components:

    I'm having that same problem on 24.2.1. The only fix I can find is to Unlink audio from video, make a Nest of the audio, and then apply Enhance Speech to it.

      I ran into the same issue. What I found worked for me is to double click the clip > pull out the audio track and drag back into the timeline > delete the old audio > rerun enhance on the new audio clip. 

      It will reanalyze the clip and seems to resync it. Hope this helps!

      I think what we'll need to do is cut up all the audio first before applying enhance until they fix this bug.

          This is really interesting, cause the clip should be reanalyzed after the trim, but in your case it is not.  What is different about this clip?  Is it a merged clip or a nest/multicam?  Do you have "render audio when rendering video" turned on in the audio preferences?

          Basically, anything out of the ordinary for this clip will help us diagnose what is going wrong.

          This happens for every clip that uses Enhance Speech.

           

          It is a merged clip, not nested. Separate audio was recorded via Audition Beta. This audio was enhanced and stretched to sync with the original video's timing in Audition. It was then merged with the audio from the original video removed in Premiere Pro Beta.

           

          "Render audio when rendering video" is not checked in Preferences > Audio. This was not changed by me when installing Premiere Pro Beta.

          Do you mean trimming the audio clip?  Could you post a video how you get into this state?
