Question

"Ripple trim previous edit to playhead" doesn't work at the start of the clip anymore

In previous versions, if your playhead is at the start of the clip and you "ripple trim previous edit to playhead" it will delete one frame of the clip. This is useful because sometimes you trim at the wrong frame and you can use it to micro adjust.

But in the latest version of premiere beta this was removed? Don't know if it's a bug on my side, but if it's intended then it is a really bad change, many people use this feature all the time, please revert.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm not on the product team (support guy here), but I advise you to enter the bug into User Voice and provide a link to it so we can all upvote and get more traction on the issue. Can you do that, please?

Thanks,
Kevin

Is it ever gonna get fixed or are you guys gonna ignore it like it's not a problem?

I can show a screen recording if the bug description was confusing.

I think it might be because how the mechainics has changed, usually it deletes one frame after the playhead, and now it doesn't anymore.

I don't know why they would change it, the machinc was fine for years and people use it for years, this is such a weird tweak.
