Scene detection doesn't work well on multi cam sequence in latest beta

Steps to reproduce:
    1. ...run scene detection 
 
Result: ...not many shot changes found, and the edits that are added are incorrect. Not actual shot changes.
Expected: ...all shot changes found

We were using this on multicam sequences (on a Line cut with many shot changes) and it worked perfectly. On the latest beta the options menu changed from what's shown in the what's new section. No more sensitivity option. and at the top it says it will work on flattened footage. It didn't use to say that. So I guess you took out the ability to work on a multicam sequence. But it was working beautifully before!
