Select text from a long transcript

My transcription was long, when I double click on a word to enter edit, if that word is under the fold line of the edit frame, it goes back to play mode. I have to double click a word (vertically) higher in the frame to get into edit mode. Then find my word, edit, then escape, then play. Tedious.
