Shift select in import dialog doesn't select a range

Installed the Premiere Pro beta for the first time, the first thing I norticed in the Import dialog was that Shift-Select did not select a range. Shift-select does like Command-select, and multi-selects a discontiguous range. I expected Shift-select to select the range in between.
