When bringing MXF files into the timeline they are being automatially graded?

In the project files window the are in SLOG3 format with no grade but as soon as pulled into the timeline they are taknig on a default LUT.

I have been in to project settings and changed default LUT to none but there seems to be zero way to override this issue.

What do you see as the default  ...?

I've tested some Slog-3 and the massive color management changes in Pr2022 are at play. Both for the options that users now have for color space management for some clips in the bin, and in the default behaviors Pr2022 applies to certain media types.

The Slog-3 I've tested is assumed by Premiere to be HLG color space media. So it displays the clips, when simply dropped on a Rec.709 timeline/sequence, as if they were being viewed on an HLG sequence. Completely blown out from lower mid-tones on up. (And not what the developers were expecting to happen.)

You can go to the bin, Modify/Interpret Footage, and set an Override to Rec.709 option. However ... proxies made by Premiere will only be useful on an HLG timeline in HDR viewing.

I've got a FAQ that I wrote about this for the main user Pr forum that covers it in detail, and yes, using that Sony Slog-3 clip as an example.
