Text in Premier pro beta, latest version.

HI. I am writing in text box, a basic text box that has a simple border and 2 color Base/outline layout with a plain font. I'm writeing a pragraph over a video for a caption. a paragraph, not a novel, a pragraph, to display at the front of the video. I have a i7 processor, 3 ghz and a nvidia 4070 ti GPU.

Its lagging my computer like I'm building a complex 3d simulation, to write a paragraph of simple text over a video. why? is this a bug? or is it my system? why is it like this?
