The ability to save a group of selected clips so i don't have to go through and reselect the entire group every time.

I’m currently grading a full length feature film with the new Color Mode and something that would be VERY helpful is to be able to select a group of clips and then label and save that selection to be able to revisit and tweak later. Let’s say I go through my whole timeline and select specific clips (all CU interview of 1 person) create the grade it looks good, but then i go and watch it in the full context of the film and i want to tweak it slightly well now i have to go through and re selected every single clip individually in order to do that. Would be really nice to be able to just have that selection saved to quickly reference again.

Matt’s got the answer.  Groups are one of the main things that moved this ‘forward’ in the private beta stage. Using the grid view and making groups to apply grades is simply one of the the main points of the Color mode.

(Move to Beta forums) @shawphi this is possible already. You need to make a selection of clips and then create a group. Any operations inside that group apply to all clips. In the future to get back to it you need to go to any of the member clips and you’ll see the group section.
