Timeline Gaps after using AI filler and pause remover

Using the AI powered filler and pause remove function creates stubbon gaps in the timeline in Premiere Pro Beta.  Is there any way to prevent this?  Is this a bug?

Thank you for your feedback.

Did you choose to "lift" or "extract" when deleting the fillers? extract would have caused the gaps to be closed after deleting the fillers.

Best regards,

 Alexander

I chose delete, life and extract and have the same issue each time.  Its only an issue when using the automatically detected fillers and pauses.  When I use extract it seems to work fine and close up neatly at other times.

You have posted to the Photoshop beta forum, so I'll move you to the right place.  BTW there were some amazing things demonstrated at MAX for Premiere Pro beta.  These are exciting times for content creators.
