Question

Transcription Dictionary editing

Is there a way to edit user added words that are part of the local Transcription function outside of Premiere, as in a text file? If so, where is the file located?

Secondly, (and related), in English any time the word "pounds" is translated it is given the British monetary symbol—which is hardly ever used in my transcriptions. This is another reason I would like to be able to edit the dictionary by hand.

Thank you.

That is an excellent question. Is there a way to edit user-added words that are part of the local Transcription function outside of Premiere, as in a text file? If so, where is the file located?

I will wait to see if there is any reply or help in that regard.

Thank you for your feedback!

Premiere Pro currently does not support adding a user provided dictionary for transcriptions.

Can you please send a feature request through our user-voice page, so we can get the right priority on when this should be added to the product?
