I do a lot scientific work with space images. My question is. Has any one of you used the Adobe premiere pro software as a scientific tool? I am looking for some input in this subject. Thank you all.

What sort of things would you hope to do, with PPro?

Not to discount the brilliance of PP, but it is simply a tool, like a hammer.  Do you use hammers in science?  Yes., so yes you can use PP as a scientific tool.

PP is a nondestructive video image processor, so you can manipulate the raw space images, provided they're in standard video or still image formats.  If the images or footage is not in a "standard" format that Premier can read, however, Premier might not be a good tool. Check the specs to be sure it can accommodate your source material.

Of course, the whole Adobe Creative Cloud suite provides a lot of other tools.  If they meet your needs for scientific study, go for it!

What sort of scientific work do you want to do?
