Wasted Space: the New UI Menu Area of Premiere Pro

Somehow, this is considered a great use of space ...

Note the two large circled areas? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING there. Totally wasted UI space.

And yet, I must go to the menu item on the far upper right corner, and click to get a dropdown to get to my workspaces.

Why?

This is not any improvement in utilization of UI space whatsoever.

And @Francis-Crossman17221443 et al, I can still see no justification for the extra clicks required by leaving this large space across my monitor vacant.

Hello, I'm leaving an opinion while trying to check the beta update.

Grouping is very important in terms of user experience, especially for beginners and learners of Premier Pro.

I completely disagree that the empty space at the top is a waste.

If I'm a beginner, I don't even know what to click, and I think too many menus (especially like 3D programs such as 3ds max) will only bring useless confusion.

so... I don't think this is a meaningless update just because a click step has been added once. Don't most users use shortcut keys anyway?

It is necessary to think about it not from the perspective of existing users, but from the perspective of beginners.

I work in an educational institution, and I saw a lot of beginners who were confused because the screen changed after pressing the button at the top incorrectly. They don't even know Reset. Therefore, I think this button may act as a kind of safety device.

I think it's better to customize the empty space at the top. For those who feel that space is a waste.

Wouldn't it be good for everyone to leave the basic UI as it is and customize and use the menu they need? Even beginners and skilled people.

I used a translator because I was not a British-American user. I hope the nuance will be delivered well.
