why is my audio not playing in beta version on a Mac?

The audio isn’t coming out of my speakers on my imac when using Adobe Premiere Beta. It’s working fine in the standard Premiere app. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, adjusted the audio hardware setting and still getting no where.  Please help?

I can’t open the project file in standard and when try to export as XML, I’m losing bi structure, effects and a lot of hard work.
