Question

Will I be stuck with the current version if I have windows 10?

I have a decent computer with 64GB of ram, 6GB of GPU with an Intel Core i7900 3.0GHz.

Unfortunately windows won’t let me update to windows 11 (I use windows 10) because of the Trusted Platform Module version 2.0 (TPM 2.0).

Today I finally updated Premiere Beta to it’s latest version (26.3.0.067) and when I opened it I got this warning message:

Does this mean that I will be stuck with the current official version of Premiere (26.2.2) “forever”?

You can use Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way to bypass the requirements needed for Windows 11. I installed Windows 11 on a computer from 2010 some weeks ago by using Rufus and i use Rufus on all installs of Windows 11 i do, even on brand new computers.

Download the Windows 11 Disk Image ISO-file directly from Microsoft and then use Rufus to create the bootable USB stick you use to install Windows 11: Microsoft - Download Windows 11

So it is possible to install Windows 11 on older computers so you can continue to use the computer you have today. :)
