Work area bar doesn't follow ripple delete

22.1.1 build 53

So I place a clip on the timeline, trim off 30 sec of blank at the beginning and set work area bar.

I decide to delete the gap between the beginning of the timeline and the start of the clip by right-click and ripple delete. Clip moves but not the work area bar.
