Work Area bar no longer visible: Release 22.6.1 and Beta 23.1.0.5

Show work area. Set work area. The "bar" area that is active no longer shows a color indication.

    Same issue here!  Thankfully this has been confirmed by Kevin Monahan (Adobe employee) in another thread as a bug that's currently being fixed.

     

    To those saying that they never use the work area bar, just because you don't use it doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed for others that do.  Sorry to burst your bubble, but the world doesn't revolve around you.  If you don't have something constructive to share, silence is golden. 😉

    Do not get yourself points, they are not in your favor. I didn't say to remove it. I asked the question how useful it is in the installation and got the above answer. So be careful ☝️

    I've personally have never seen the purpose that item serves in the grand scheme of things. I've always had it turned off. I'm surprised it still remains after this many iterations. Seems like it is dying a slower death than the Legacy Title Tool

    I use it all the time. Once I have picture lock I add black video on V1 the same length as the programme and then make the WAB the same length. My sequences never start at the begining of the timeline but a couple of minutes in, I then change the timecode start point so the start of the black is at 00:00:00:00. For export formats that have separate audio and video like dvd and Bluray it is then easy to export either audio,video or both using the WAB knowing that they will be in sync.

      I didn't use it as such at all. What role does it play in the importance of installation?
