Own made workspace preset are useless with new projects.

Everytime if you start a new Premiere project from scratch the layout does not match with self made presets.

This seems broken sinds cc2018.

steps to repro

open a new premiere project

setup you screen layout and save it to a workspace preset, check if you can recall it.

Close Premiere

Open Premiere and start a new project again.

Your workspace preset seems useless and does not recall as it should be.

In Premiere's workspaces each project is saved individually. This is becuase you could have two or more projects open and have them docked in different parts of the interface, and you'd expect your workspace to remember that.

With cc2018 and earlier, your workspace could always be recalled as saved.

It should not matter if Import workspace is set or not. (it should just at new workspaces)

This is now not working as expected, no matter what you do, your workspace can't be saved/recalled

(See steps to repro above)

While the fixed workspaces, keep working as expected.

Same goes for the project panel, setting in there always get lost, but can be recalled.

If you open a lot of projects every day for final editing this is very annoying, you should always be able to recall

you own workspace.

If a project is opened while another project is already open, it should not change layout but append to the project panel.

Same as with the timelines happen.

I also tested with 2 projects open and save then the workspace, but that does not seems to work either after you restart Premiere to a new project.

This is the public beta forum, not the regular 'released' Premiere pro forum. Doesn't sound like a beta query ...

What is your option set for importing workspaces? If this is checked, then it would behave as you're seeing. Uncheck it.
