Question

Allow Saving Rush Project to Transportable File

Since you took away our ability to sync projects across devices, how about allowing us to save our projects to a file so that can then copy them to other devices at least?

You took away the one feature that really made Rush Useful. Now i just rather copy my videos to my laptop and use Final Cut Pro. Or GoPro Quik even. Way to ruin a good thing!

This is a user-to-user forum, so the team will probably not see this message. But I will pass your frustrations along with your feature request.

I'm unsure if this article is helpful, but it may alleviate your situation: How to Move Rush files from Mobile to Desktop.

I appreciate the feature request. Have a great weekend.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin! Appreciate the link article too. Its odd that when I clicked Submit Feature Request in app this is where it took me. I guess that's one way for Adobe to avoid having new features! 🙂

Yes, that's the deal now. It used to be connected to the User Voice platform, but that's no longer available. Sorry about that. I can pass along feature requests. You can also check out the Beta version, but there doesn't appear to be any new features there. On behalf of the Rush team, I apologize for the lack of development.

You may want to have a look at Project Violet on the app store. It's a free app from Adobe Research. The Free Online Video Editor on Express is also an interesting browser-based video editor.

Despite its issues, you can do incredible work with Rush. I love it.

Cheers,
Kevin
