Premiere Rush will not load to the app on Mac Book Pro

Whenever I try to start the rush app on my mac it just gets stuck with a buffering sign on the welcome screen.
This is really frustrating and I have tried things like logging out of my cc account, launching activity manager, and killing the creative cloud processes, deleting preferences on the documents folder, restarting the computer, etc.
Nothing is working! Someone please help, it would be much appreciated! 🙂
