Camera size maximum 8000px?

Hi,

I have to make a rendering for a Poster 2x1 meter with 300 dpi. When trying to set the camara with 24,000 px is loks at 8,000px. And the rendering is only giving a output of 72 dpi even if I set to 300 dpi.

 

Is it not possible to render such big pictures?

    8000 x 8000 pixels is our render resolution limitation right now.  It is mostly because we don't have bucket rendering and 8000 x 8000 tends to fill the GPU memory.  It's possible to render large in the future, but it's a current hard-set limit by the app.

    I also get 8000px. There is a limitation. Rendering system | Substance 3D Stager (adobe.com)

     

    Override camera size

    Sets all cameras to render at a specific size.

    When off, cameras will render using their size (set in Properties > Camera > Size).

    Thank you very much for the tip. I have just tried to change the camera size. Here I’m getting the same limitation. Is it maybe because I’m using a test Version? Or maybe I’m doing it wrong.

    Can you possible send a screen shot of where to change the settings 😊 That would be a great help. As I didn’t find > Properties > Camera > Size, only Scene > Camera > Properties > Size

    Limitation is there in latest release and not depend on Properties > Camera > Size option. In any case the max size will be there: only up to 8000px. 

     

    You can render Ps file in 8000px and then resize image size in Ps for more larger size. That can be a solution..
